When configuring your settings, please note that these details directly affect your invoices, quotes, and bills. Make sure all information entered—such as business details, banking information, and display settings—is accurate, as it will appear on your customer-facing documents.
On the details page, you’ll need to fill in your business and contact information. You can upload your workshop logo, which will appear on your quotes and invoices. You can also customize the color of your digital quote borders and add your Google Business review link, which will appear on the digital quote or invoice.
If you are VAT registered, please ensure that your VAT number is filled in.
To add your workshop address, start typing it in the search bar linked to Google Maps.
If your address is unusual (e.g., “Corner of Brie Street and Amber Road” or a unit address withing a business complex or industrial park), enter it manually in the Display Address field, which is explained in the next step.
Please note that after submitting the Display Address, it will not appear in the main Google Maps address field, as they serve different purposes.
The Display Address is the one shown on all documents such as quotes and invoices.
The bank details entered here will appear at the bottom of your quotes and invoices.
Enter your terms and conditions, which can appear on your quotes, invoices, and job cards.
You can choose which documents they appear on, but by default, they will display on all.
All certifications added here will appear at the bottom of your invoices (e.g., RMI or MIWA logos).
Only upload logo images in PNG or JPG format.
In Site Settings, you can set your labour rate, which appears as the default rate on quotes and invoices.
Select your VAT capture mode for documents.
Exclusive Mode:
In this mode, you enter your prices excluding VAT. The system will automatically calculate the VAT amount and the VAT-inclusive price for you.
Inclusive Mode:
In this mode, you enter your prices including VAT. The system will automatically calculate the VAT amount and the VAT-exclusive price for you.
Set your inventory mode:
Tracked – requires available stock before creating an invoice.
Untracked – still tracks movement but is less strict.
Choose your target profit percentage, which appears in the job summary footer to show whether you’ve met your goal per job.
Please bear in mind that Evolv is a web-based app and cannot be found on the App Store or Google Play Store. To access it, simply scan the app QR code, which will open Evolv in your browser. Make sure to follow the installation steps outlined in the provided tutorials to complete the setup correctly .
